Porcelain Veneers in Fort Lee, NJ: Change the Shape and Color of Your Smile, Keep Your Teeth

A veneer is a thin shell of porcelain bonded to the front of a tooth. Done conservatively, it changes color, shape, length and small alignment problems while leaving most of your natural tooth intact. Dr. Jonathan Odinsky prepares veneers as minimally as each case allows, with metal-free ceramic chosen for biocompatibility.

Why You’re Here

You Want a Real Change, Not a Cover-Up That Costs You Healthy Teeth

Veneers have a reputation problem. Some offices grind teeth down to pegs to fit thick porcelain, and the result looks uniform and bright but the teeth underneath are gone for good.

Modern porcelain does not need that. With careful planning and strong bonding, Dr. Odinsky can often place veneers with minimal reduction, sometimes none on certain teeth, so the change is reversible in spirit and your enamel stays yours.

The material is metal-free ceramic, shade-matched tooth by tooth and shaped to your face, not a catalog. See all of our cosmetic options.

Are Veneers Right for You?

Porcelain Veneers Are Often the Answer When You Have

  • Deep staining that whitening cannot lift, such as from tetracycline or fluorosis
  • Chipped, worn or uneven front teeth
  • Small gaps or a tooth that looks short or narrow
  • Mild crowding or rotation you would rather not treat with aligners
  • Old bonding or veneers that have discolored
  • Healthy teeth and gums and a bite that will not overload thin porcelain

The Process

How Porcelain Veneers Are Done at Infinity Dental Wellness

Two to three visits over a few weeks. You see the result before it is permanent.

  1. Consultation and Design

Photos, a digital scan and a conversation about what you want to change. We check gums, bite and any grinding, because veneers only last on a healthy foundation.

  2. Preview

A mock-up on your own teeth shows the new shape and length in your mouth. Adjustments happen here, in temporary material, not in porcelain.

  3. Conservative Preparation

Dr. Odinsky removes the least enamel the design allows, often less than half a millimeter. Temporaries protect the teeth while the lab works.

  4. Bonding

Each veneer is tried in, checked for shade and fit, then bonded with the same careful protocols we use for biomimetic restorations.

  5. Comfort Throughout

The Wand for gentle numbing, headphones, and nitrous oxide if you want it.

  6. Protection

If you grind at night, a custom guard protects the porcelain and your investment.

Materials

Why the Porcelain and the Preparation Both Matter

Veneers are made from layered porcelain or lithium disilicate, both metal-free ceramics that mimic the translucency of enamel. They do not stain the way composite can, and they hold their polish for years.

How much tooth is removed determines how the veneer bonds and how the tooth ages. Bonding to enamel is stronger and more predictable than bonding to dentin, which is exactly why we keep preparation minimal.

If you prefer a single-visit, lower-cost fix for a chip or small gap, cosmetic bonding may be the better choice, and Dr. Odinsky will say so.

Common Questions

Porcelain Veneer Questions, Answered

How much do porcelain veneers cost in Fort Lee, NJ?

Veneers are priced per tooth and the total depends on how many teeth are treated and the design work involved. You receive a written estimate after your consultation. Veneers are cosmetic and usually not covered by insurance, so we offer CareCredit and Cherry financing. See financing details.

How long do porcelain veneers last?

Well-made veneers on healthy teeth commonly last ten to fifteen years or more. Avoiding ice and hard objects, wearing a night guard if you grind, and keeping regular visits are what extend their life.

Do veneers ruin your teeth?

Aggressively prepared veneers remove a lot of enamel. Conservatively prepared veneers remove very little, and in some cases none. That difference is why we plan with a preview and keep reduction minimal.

Veneers or bonding?

Bonding is faster and less expensive and is ideal for a single chip or small gap, but it can stain and chip over time. Porcelain costs more, lasts longer and holds its color. For several front teeth or a color change, porcelain is usually the better long-term value.

Can I whiten my teeth after veneers?

Porcelain does not whiten, so we set the veneer shade together with any whitening of your natural teeth, usually whitening first. That way everything matches from the start.

Do I need to be a current patient?

No. New patients are welcome for veneer consultations. Call (201) 592-6222 or use the form above to schedule.
