Dental Implants in Fort Lee, NJ, Including Metal-Free Ceramic Implants

An implant replaces a missing tooth from the root up, so it looks, feels and chews like your own. At Infinity Dental Wellness you can choose zirconia ceramic implants for a completely metal-free result. Dr. Jonathan Odinsky, an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, plans every case on 3D imaging and places implants in-house.

Why You’re Here

You Want the Missing Tooth Replaced Properly, and You Have Questions About Metal

A missing tooth is more than a gap. Neighbors drift, the opposing tooth over-erupts, and the bone that held the root starts to shrink. An implant stops all of that because it replaces the root itself.

Conventional implants are titanium, which has a long track record. Some patients prefer no metal at all, whether for sensitivity, a thin gumline where gray can show through, or a holistic philosophy. For them we offer zirconia ceramic implants: white, biocompatible and strong.

Dr. Odinsky is an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, a credential earned through documented cases and examination. Planning, placement and the final crown all happen here.

Are Implants Right for You?

Dental Implants Are Usually the Best Answer When You

  • Are missing one tooth and do not want the neighbors ground down for a bridge
  • Are missing several teeth and want a fixed solution
  • Have a loose lower denture you would like anchored
  • Have a tooth that cannot be saved and want a plan before extraction
  • Prefer a metal-free zirconia implant
  • Have, or can rebuild, enough healthy bone to support an implant

The Process

Dental Implant Treatment at Infinity Dental Wellness

Start to finish usually takes three to six months, most of it healing time.

  1. 3D Planning

A low-dose cone beam scan maps bone volume, nerves and sinuses so the implant position is planned precisely before anything is done. About our imaging

  2. Foundation First

Gum inflammation is treated and, if needed, bone is grafted so the implant has a healthy site. Ozone may be used to support a clean surgical field.

  3. Placement

The implant, zirconia or titanium, is placed in a guided procedure. Most patients describe it as easier than the extraction. Nitrous oxide and other comfort options are available.

  4. Healing

Over a few months the bone bonds to the implant. A temporary keeps your smile complete in the meantime where needed.

  5. The Crown

A metal-free ceramic crown is made to match your teeth and attached to the implant. About metal-free crowns

  6. Maintenance

Implants are cleaned like teeth. Regular visits and healthy gums keep them for the long term.

Zirconia vs. Titanium

Ceramic Implants: When Metal-Free Makes Sense

  • Biocompatible. Zirconia is a ceramic, not a metal. It does not corrode and is a good option for patients with metal sensitivities.
  • White, not gray. With a thin gumline, a titanium implant can show as a shadow. Zirconia stays tooth-colored.
  • Gum-friendly. Ceramic surfaces attract less plaque, which supports healthy tissue around the implant.
  • Strong. Modern zirconia implants are engineered for the forces of chewing and have a growing long-term record.
  • Titanium still has a place. In some bone situations or full-arch cases titanium remains the more predictable choice. Dr. Odinsky will tell you honestly which fits your case.

Common Questions

Dental Implant Questions, Answered

How much do dental implants cost in Fort Lee, NJ?

A single implant is priced as the implant, the connector and the crown, and the total varies with whether bone grafting is needed and whether you choose zirconia or titanium. You receive a written estimate after your 3D scan. Some dental plans contribute toward implants, and we offer CareCredit and Cherry financing. See financing and insurance details.

Are ceramic implants as good as titanium?

For single teeth and many multi-tooth cases, zirconia implants perform well and are the choice for patients who want no metal. Titanium has the longer track record and remains preferable in some bone and full-arch situations. Dr. Odinsky recommends based on your scan, not a preference for one product.

Does getting an implant hurt?

The procedure is done with local anesthetic and, if you like, nitrous oxide. Most patients report less discomfort than they expected, often less than the extraction. Mild soreness for a few days is normal.

How long do implants last?

With healthy gums and good home care, implants are designed to last for decades. The crown on top may be replaced over time like any restoration.

What if I do not have enough bone?

Bone grafting can rebuild the site before or during implant placement. The 3D scan tells us exactly what is there, so there are no surprises.

Do I need to be a current patient?

No. New patients are welcome, including second opinions on an implant plan. Call (201) 592-6222 or use the form above to schedule.
